Engineering Associate
The Fort Miller Co., Inc., Greenwich,
NY
An Engineering Associate is primarily
responsible for project management, design calculations and the development
of detailed shop drawings for precast concrete structures, including products
such as retaining wall, barrier, box culverts and other custom concrete
structures. BS in an engineering-related field is required. Proficiency
with AutoCAD and construction experience is preferred.
Production Manager
Loughberry Mfg. Corp., Saratoga Springs,
NY
Loughberry Mfg. Corp. seeks a Production
Manager to develop and lead our fabrication team to ensure that we safely
and efficiently manufacture high quality products. This individual will
work hand in hand with other departments to set the production schedule
and develop/update quality procedures. To be qualified, an individual
must have an AAS in mechanical or industrial engineering as well as five
years of leadership experience in a machine shop environment. Experience
working in an ISO certified environment and a SHARP certified facility
is desired.
Engineering Manager

an individual who will have overall responsibility for new and existing
product design and shop drawing development, ensuring ISO compliance and
customer satisfaction. The Engineering Manager also works closely with
the Sales Dept. to provide information necessary to develop an accurate
quotation and may work directly with customers to discuss design options.
This individual must possess a BSME and be proficient with AutoCAD and
SolidWorks. He or she must also have at least five years of leadership
experience and ten years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Mechanic, The Fort Miller Co., Inc.
Greenwich, NY
The Fort Miller Co., Inc. seeks an entry level Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic
to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair on- and off-road vehicles and equipment.
Typical equipment consists of fork lifts, dump trucks, concrete mixers,
yard trailer jockeys, truck cranes, bucket loaders, and other related
construction equipment. This individual will also be responsible for inventory
control in the garage. AOS or AAS in Diesel Mechanics and computer proficiency
are required. In addition, qualified applicants must be safety conscious
and available to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends.
Truck driving (CDL) or equipment operation experience is preferred, but
not required. Strong mechanical aptitude required.
Draftsperson, Loughberry Mfg. Corp.
Saratoga Springs, NY
This is a great opportunity for a highly organized individual who thoroughly
enjoys drafting and supporting the manufacturing process. Our Draftsperson
will create drawings, layouts and cut sheets for a large variety of products.
Proficiency with SolidWorks and MS Office required. Strong interpersonal
skills and outstanding attention to detail are also required. To succeed
in this position, one must be able to meet deadlines and work in a fast
paced environment. This position requires a minimum of an AAS in Drafting
or Mechanical Engineering.
Technician/Customer Service Associate
Tymetal Corp., Greenwich, NY
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who would like to learn
our gate and operator systems in order to troubleshoot mechanical and
electrical issues both in person and over the phone, assist installers
as they work to install our products in the field, oversee our gate and
operator maintenance contracts and ensure all work is adequately documented,
provide quotes for parts and process orders as required, and assist the
Manager of Customer Service to ensure we are providing a superior level
of service to our customers, both in person and over the phone. Excellent
customer service, communication and organizational skills are required,
along with strong technical writing skills, proficiency with Microsoft
Office and at least five years of technical support experience. He or
she must also be able to read and accurately interpret technical drawings
and seek continuous improvement in all that we do at Tymetal. Construction
industry experience is preferred. This position may require travel, including
air travel.
Batch Plant Driver
The Fort Miller Co., Inc., Greenwich, NY
The Batch Plant Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery
and placement of concrete throughout the plant, providing excellent service
to the production process. This individual is also responsible for maintaining
the cleanliness and efficiency of his or her delivery vehicle and the
Batch Plant work area. One to two years of experience operating equipment
in the construction and/or manufacturing environment is preferred. Excellent
housekeeping skills and a strong safety record are required.
Sales Assistant
Tymetal Corp., Greenwich, NY
Tymetal seeks a detail-oriented individual
with exceptional organizational and communication skills to provide support
to our sales and administrative departments. This individual will assist
with customer follow-up, coordination with other depts. for drawings,
quotes, and shipping information, the maintenance of our contact management
software and other administrative tasks as required. Excellent phone skills
and computer proficiency, especially the ability to use Excel and Word,
are absolutely required. Experience with AutoCAD is preferred. This position
will also require the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Press Brake Operator (CNC)
Loughberry Mfg. Corp., Saratoga Springs, NY
We have an opportunity for an individual to work on the press brake, punch
and shear machines, as well as operate other metal-working machines/equipment.
This individual will cut, bend and punch materials according to shop drawings
and must be able to operate a 1-ton jig crane. To be qualified, an individual
must have 2-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably
operating machines, and an excellent safety record (including safe rigging).
The ability to read shop drawings and a strong attention to detail are
required. This individual must be flexible with work assignments and scheduling,
and be willing to fill in wherever needed.
Sales Associates
Anvil Fence & Access Systems, Clifton Park, NY
Anvil has a need for a highly motivated individual to identify sales leads
and business opportunities for our company. This individual will identify
and qualify leads, develop quotations and follow up to close the sale.
This individual will work with existing and new customers for our existing
products and services, but must also be able to develop new business opportunities
for Anvil outside of our traditional product lines. This individual must
have outstanding communication skills and provide exceptional customer
service. AAS in a construction-related field and sales experience are
preferred.
Specification Sales Associate
Tymetal Corp., Greenwich, NY
Tymetal Corp. is looking for a driven
individual with lead tracking and specification type experience to join
our Greenwich Sales Office. This individual must provide exceptional customer
service, working with architects and owners to identify and convert sales
leads to specifications for our products. The Sales Specifications Associate
also responds to technical product inquiries that come in to the office.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience with on
line lead services and MS Office are required. Degree preferred.
