New partnership with Fort Miller Group delivers strategic opportunities for research
TROY, N.Y. — The Center for Architecture, Science, and Ecology (CASE) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute welcomes Fort Miller Group as a new member in its industry partner program and a key leader in the developing regional innovation hub that is providing CASE students with valuable opportunities for hands-on learning with architectural professionals and opening the door for collaborative research between industry and the university.
Fort Miller Group (FMG) and its companies, Fort Miller Precast and Scott System, are renowned for their commitment to developing technologically advanced, sustainable practices in concrete — one of the most challenging building systems for carbon reduction. Through this partnership with CASE, FMG is solidifying a commitment to nurturing the future of the built environment through education, research, and innovation. CASE is a university-level research center with locations in Brooklyn and Troy, N.Y., that was founded in 2007 within the Rensselaer School of Architecture to foster collaboration between leaders in architecture, science, and business.
