On November 4th, the spirit of community and camaraderie was on full display as 22 associates and family members from The Fort Miller Group gathered to participate in the 11th Annual Revolutionary Run. This charity event, held annually, aims to raise funds for the Saratoga County Veteran’s Trust Fund, a noble cause that supports our local veterans.
The Revolutionary 5K Run for Veterans is known for its scenic beauty and Revolutionary War reenactment actors and this year was no exception. The course took runners through Fort Hardy Park to Hudson Crossing Park, a place rich in history and adorned with picturesque views. Revolutionary actors greeted guest along the way with blasts from the cannon to add to the ambiance.
The Fort Miller Group’s team spirit and commitment were evident throughout the race. Some members aimed for personal bests, while others were there simply to show their support. Regardless of their individual motivations, everyone shared the common goal of contributing to the Saratoga County Veteran’s Fund. This commitment to the cause demonstrated the group’s strong sense of community and their dedication to making a difference in the lives of local veterans.
